It is a renovated vacation rental house for stay in a traditional Japanese building (蔵 Kura).
Kura is a traditional building with plaster walls that used to store Takayama festival stalls and important things. It takes long time to complete, so it is rare for new buildings to be built, and our storehouse is more than 100 years old. You can stay here only one group a day.

The location is near the center of Takayama city area, and the morning market, Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Kusakabe Folk Crafts Museum, etc. are popular areas within a 2-minute walk.? There are many restaurants nearby and the old streets are within walking distance.
Autumn Takayama Festival is held on October 9th and 10th every year.
Also,My house is located in the center of autumn Takayama festival venue.
The highlights of festival called YOIMATSURI (宵祭) is started just in front of my house.
If you stay my house in this festival, you can enjoy the festival all day, from morning to night!!
